Protection for all user profiles

I use quite a few av and anit spyware programs. I have noticed that the icons in the taskbar only show up under my logged in profile not my wife's or the guest's profile. Am I to presume that there is no protection for these other 2 profiles on Windows XP? If so how can resolve this issue. Thanks in Advance.

When you load these programs you usually get an option to say apply to any user of this PC of just the logged on user. The other possibility is to load them when logged in as Administrator.
