churn n burn?...whaaa hmmm
Yeah, it's "Prop Idol" - someone gets voted out each week, or so I hear.
MOAR that a few gentlemen are taught about doing red bor spreads or whatever, taught to leg out of them for half a tick, and then a few get approved at random. Or similar. To me (usually an outright trader) this isn't trading - who he **** has a coherent view on red spreads - but it's the way they're taught...
If anyone here is ****ing impressive I can get you an interview at my prop firm. But you better be ****ing astounding.

I may be being slightly dim here but what is the advantage of working at a prop firm?
alot of people ask that.
but if your good enough, the prop firm will back you. no? i.e. more money to trade, so eventually more money for onesself.
If you are a good trader, and have £5,000 yourself that you can invest, but how much can you grow that to? even if you make 200% ROI in 12 months, end result is £15,000. - thats superb
but prop firms, once they have spotted this talent can scale you up to tens of thousands, then 100,000's and then maybe one day millions.
if one fails, then he simply cannot 'cut' it.
However as with everything there are always pros and cons. some bad firms, some good firms.

OK, guess I'll be the one to bite:
Astounding how exactly? Are we talking 5 years of highly profitable trading history, or an impressive academic/personal record? Or both? Or was this just a bit of a crow about how great your life is? Any one of the above is fine, but it's best to clarify for us mere mortals.

Age is not an issue - neither is sex
