I've realised where my confusion has come from, I watched post counts in the mod forums and not the main boards

Ahhh - yes, that'd be right, some forums don't count towards your post count. Perhaps we should include every forum regardless?!

For my part, I'd leave it as is. Admin/Mod posts don't really contribute to the discussions in the threads, which is really what I'd think the post count is supposed to reflect.
