I have made one deal through Oxbridge and am now being urged into another. I know Oxbridge is not regulated by the FSA, but has anyone had dealings with them. If so were the results good, bad or awful ?

The first 5 results in google are warnings!!! Must say something...

"Oxbridge International", the name suggests that there's a 95% chance it's a scam broker which also means there's a 95% chance you'll never see any money again. Scam brokers love to use really impressive sounding names.

Sorry to bear the bad news but you (and any others reading this) MUST learn to use the internet to fully research what you're buying and who you're dealing with.

And of course NEVER do business with a company that cold calls you and is not based in this country and regulated by the FSA. Being based means they have a proper address and a main swithboard number which also appears on the FSAs website.

RE OXBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL. My husband has parted with thousands of £'s for Ats Specialist shares bought through Oxbridge International. A woman's intuition told me this should be a no go area. Anyway Share certificate arrived by special courier, very impressive - that was in January 2005. But to date no news on when they will be floated. When my husband bought them he was told by Andrew Richardson a broker for Oxbridge International that ATS will be floated within 3 to 4 months time and a large mutual company was going to buy a huge chunk of shares, hence the reason for us having to buy a large block of shares. Ats does have a very impressive Website loads and loads of clients and with an even more impressive array of generals etc on the team, sadly my e-mails to them are never answered. I would like to hear from other investors, am I worrying for nothing?

Hello Shad thank you for the link and the quote, I wish my husband had thought before he did :) What an eye opener. Made me feel ill. What a world we live in. I would still like to hear from other investors who have bought shares in ATS Specialists, or any info at all on Oxbridge International and ATS Specialists please. Thank you

Re Oxbridge International

My experience is very similar to your husbands - I cannot get any response from the Company - does anyone know how to get these guys to reply or explain themselves? I am not counting any chickens !

The FSA issued a warning about them in 2005. Its called a 'boiler room scam' and if you fell for it then they will keep calling you until you havnt a penny left.
