Open & Closing Times

What is the official opening & closing times of the following Indices for cash and futures?

DAX, FTSE100, DOW, NASDAQ & NIKKEI

The reason for asking is I am having trouble juggling my full time job and trying to put into practice some strategies I have learnt.

My normal hours are 7-4, so I am home by about 5pm UK time.

I believe the Dow Jones & Nasdaq "cash market" trade from 3:30pm-10pm in Britain. The DAX futures trade from 8am-7pm. If you're going to trade in a "scalpy-scalp" manner, trade after work and focus on the eMini-S&P and the DAX during your late afternoon and early evening. Those contracts have the best liquidity after your workday is over. Ignore the Asian markets and the "footsy".
