Online resources- DailyFX & investing.com

Hi Everyone

Fairly new to trading. Using IG CFD account.

I wanted to use some online resources to help me get an idea of general trend of a market or indicies e.g. FTSE 100 expecting to drop

Would experienced traders recommend DailyFX and Investing.com to get news and technical analysis news?

Are there any others out there people can recommend to me?

Also very much a beginner and looking for a handy app to get more detailed information on a variety of classes and also news (e.g. today's US non-farm payroll report) all in one place.

Question 1:

I found Investing.com's app and saw (thought?) that it has all the info I need.

But it's looking like the Investing.com app shows for indices is actually the CFD price and not the actual index?

e.g. Investing.com shows FTSE100 @ 7465.45 but it seems to be at 7454.70 (@ 1430 GMT 7th Feb)?

Am I right in assuming that the difference is because Investing.om shows the CFD price and not the index level?

Question 2:

What is a good app for stock/index/options/currency prices + news?
