Oil and Exploration Sector

In restrospect there are some interesting charts in the old and exploration sector.

Check out CNE, TLW, PLR and EDG.

CNE is well established and has received attention in the press recently and EDG performed very well yesterday.

Please note that Oil and Exploration stocks represent a risky investment as does the AIM. Penny stocks also have a wide spread and may not be suitable investments for many people.

Oil Exploration

Dana Exploration (DNX) has been continually promoted by Tom Winnifrith (T1ps.com). Today it has a bid of 15p and has been in a upward trend since February, but it needs to break a long term downtrend by rising over 17p. The newsflow is very strong, but it is not really attracting enough interest at present.

Agreed DANA petroleum and Pan Andean Resources are both very popular on the bulletin boards and have strong followings.

From my chartist perspective they are not attractive to me yet.
