Why would anyone live in the North? Can't think of a single reason!

I will say one thing in favour of the north, the pork pies are generally better and the beer is cheaper. As well as the north / south divide, there's the east / west divide too. Living in the south is only half the battle won. If one absolutely has to live in this county, there's really only one county worth considering: Devon!

are you on ****ing crack?

This is a photo from very close to my London flat in the evil (and ****) south:

On the other hand, here is a photo 10 miles away, tops, from my parent's house in more civilised location:

It's green

Go green, vote blue :)

P.S. I don't need to admit anything to you, hunnybun (k)

I actually lived in Manchester twice for about 4 years in all. From Levenshulme to Salford and finally Salford Quays... It wasn't till the quays when it finally felt civilised and normal, which, was uncannily much more like the South!

can't believe simply fat are still going, they're playing here next week

If someone held a gun to my head I'd rather watch Coronation Street than Eastenders. This is about the only positive thing I can say after 6 months working in the North of England.

Scotland on the other hand, now there's another matter...
