Ninjatrader - backtesting

Hello!

Does anyone have any thoughts/experience of using Ninjatrader's strategy development and backtesting functionality? It seems from their website that you don't necessarily need to learn a programming script to get started.

I get the impression that most use Tradestation, but as I'm not actively trading right now I don't really need the $100/month subscription. Or is it worth the money just for backtesting?

NinjaTrader's free to use for backtesting, apparently but I think you need to know C#
