I have opened a demo a/c with MT4 (pl. see image)

on my trade here , I have set a T.P , and the price reached my T.P too...but why is the trade still ON - & I am incurring losses ?
afaik, once the price reaches T.P, game over and order closed.

so what actually is going on here ?

Welcome to T2W.

I've been asking the question you pose pretty much since I was born - and I'm still no closer to finding an answer!

With regard to your trade and TP level, I suggest you ask your account manager with your broker.

talk to your broker.....it will involve the spread i'm pretty sure if you are missing things by a pip or 2 ...............if you see positions where the price has extended well beyond the TP then its a technical issue instead

Are you sure you placed the TP before the market moved down there ?

That seems like a retail broker anyway, retail brokers don't execute your order.

its axitrader in the UK

as I had mentioned its a demo a/c with axitrader . with the size you would mean balance /equity ..if yes its 50k for all demo a/c.

Demo accounts may very well be just buggy. Your stop should have been hit.
