New guy with some question's

Hey everybody

I just joined trade2win because over the last couple of days I have been doing alot of research on day trading. I was wondering if to start out I needed to go through a company like e*trade or if there are other routes. I was also wondering what would be the best way to aquire a mentor/teacher.
