Hi
Can anyone give me advise on the following?
Here’s what I’m trying to do:
The red line denotes the VPN connection while the black line denotes a normal internet connection.
Hardware involved:
· Actiontec MI424WR Rev F (Verizon FiOS wireless modem and router)
· Cisco RV180 (wired VPN router)
Connectivity:
· Cell phones connect to both the WiFi and to the native provider networks (best reception preferred mode).
· Laptops will connect either wired to the RV180 or wireless to the MI424WR.
· PCs will connect to wired RV180.
· Servers will connect to wired RV180.
Issues:
· RV180 can communicate with MI424WR (WAN side) and with devices on the LAN side.
· Devices on the LAN side can only communicate with the RV180 and cannot reach the MI424WR and thus have no internet connectivity.
· Devices on the MI424WR can communicate with the WAN of the RV180 and have internet connectivity but cannot communicate with devices on the LAN of the RV180.
Desired Results:
· Full internet connectivity from the RV180 LAN through to the MI424WR and internet.
· Ability of devices on the RV180 WAN/MI424WR LAN to communicate devices on the RV180 LAN and vice versa.
· Ability to connect via VPN through the MI424WR to the RV180 and establish a local presence on the RV180 LAN and be able to communicate with devices as described in previous bullet point.
