Hello,
I registered with you in order to follow up what I saw after googling "Mount Royal Investments".
How do I find out about other people's experience with this group?

I have doen that, thank you very much.
I also have GIE and The Amazing Scoop Shop Co. (Ben & Jerry's)
I expect I am in the same boat, but if any further info is forthcoming from Canada, I would be most grateful.

Try contacting Joel Cohen in Montreal. I spoke to him by calling the Wanderport telephone number on the Stock Purchase forms (or the website). Keep me posted
As expected, Mount Royal have totally disappeared. I also suspect that my investments in GIE and Wanderport have also disappeared
Not being one to totally give up I managed to contact Wanderport in Canada and spoke to Joel Cohen, CEO. He also turned out to be involved in GIE as well and basically told me he acted on behalf of a number of organisation in the Montreal area. He confirmed my investment in GIE and Wanderport and seemed totally unaware on Mount Royal, stating that he used syndicates to raise money on behalf of his clients in Montreal. He has promised to keep in touch and also confirmed that GIE are planning to float Q3. When I told him about the FSA alert concerning Mount Royal and their general bad reputation he did appear genuinely concerned
All this is somewhat bemusing for me and I'm still not sure whether I'll ever see my money again. Any input or help would be appreciated
I am interested in any information regarding these names and questionable investments to forward to Tom Watson, an investigative reporter at Canadian Business mag. He can be reached directly at 416-764-1265 or [email protected].
I too seem to have been duped by a Michael McCarthy and a Robert Scott from "Mount Royal Investments" I have no idea what I can do now. I feel like a fool!!
