Mini Dow Futures expiration, Question.

Hi everyone,
just wondering, what happens on Mini Dow futures, YM on expiration day.
if I hold a position, do I have to close the position?
if so, if I don't close it ,, what happens??
anyone know?

The dow futures is cash settled on expiry, each contract is worth about $50,000 so make sure you have this much in your account for every contract you have outstanding either long or short. Otherwise you could be in serious trouble with the exchange
just kidding.. nothing bad should happen, you broker will add or deduct any outstanding p/l from your account after expiry.
