Mike Douglas and MTA Online SCAM

For those who haven't already seen it, there is a growing pile of evidence against Matt Travis and MTA on this facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/mtakeover5/

Highlights include 30 pages of screenshots of his endless excuses as to why he can't pay a £2500 debt to someone he has promised to refund, and repeated threats from Matt Travis to people he owes money to.

Has this page been removed?

It would appear so. I know that Matt and his cronies were reporting the page constantly so not clear whether it was taken down by facebook, or removed by the founder.

I believe the founder of the page posts on here occasionally so maybe he can fill the gaps.

One thing that has become apparent recently is that the true scale of the losses involved and the mounting allegations against Matt Travis is staggering. There are several individuals making some very serious claims which can't currently be disclosed on a public forum, but needless to say the net is closing very rapidly, and it's much more serious than just getting kids to put money into broker accounts under false pretences.

It seems things continue to crumble internally at MTAkeover - almost all of the staff have now left the company (approximately 20 staff left this year, mostly due to late or non-payment of wages), and Matt has moved from the expensive rented penthouse to a very modest 3 bedroom rented flat. Not a very fitting residence for the "multimillionaire forex guru" - and certainly not the £28 million pound residence he claimed he was moving to.

This is probably one of the most unintentionally funniest things I've read in ages. My favourite part is "Matt gave birth to his beautiful daughter...":LOL: Um, how did that work?

Oh, and (as if anyone is surprised) he's copied the article on his 'blog' word-for-word from another website, except he's changed the story about "Tony Robbins' mother" to "one of his private clients."

I notice MTA have changed name yet again - now they are called "MTA - Traders University"

They are breaking the law using this name, an organisation has to gain special permission from the government to use the word university in their name and has to teach accredited degree courses, something that MTA does not. http://www.hefce.ac.uk/reg/gateways/ut/

I found this post amusing also:

" OUR CEO NEEDS TO GO"

In January It Was Widely Claimed By World Famous Forex Mentor Matt Travis That The GBP Would Recover To Pre Brexit Levels By September/October.

To The Dislike Of Professional Institutions, Hedge Funds & Retail Traders, Matts Claims Made Headlines Around The UK Markets, All Of Which Labelled Him, " Out Of His Mind " & Clueless.

Where are these headlines? Only one person liked the post - Matt Travis himself - so it seems others are not buying his bull**** anymore

:LOL: You can tell they're written by Matt too, as he has this bizarre fixation with capitalising each word.

The cheek of calling himself a Philanthropist.

The confirmation message shows that a withdrawal was made, but it doesn't state the amount. The form below the confirmation message in matt's screenshot is separate and is used to make another withdrawal request, so you can select whatever amount you like in the withdrawal amount box - it doesn't mean that the account actually has those funds in it. You will also notice that the cursor arrow in the screenshot is right next to the arrows to change the amount, showing that the form has been modified after making the request for the purposes of creating the fake photo.

More smoke and mirrors as usual. Below is a similar form from a different broker requesting to withdraw several billion dollars to demonstrate how completely meaningless it is - you can enter whatever number you want.

Wow, do people really think he withdrew 180,000. For gods sake, the box where 180k is, is an input box. He withdrew money that much is true, as we can see by the green text, but he can simply go enter 180,000 at this point and do nothing else but take a screenshot and hoping that people are fools and idiots, believe it.

Makes me wonder, he is so fcking dumb, even his scamming is so basic and dumb, where the fck is all my money, as I'm actually semi smart. Maybe I should just dumb myself down to Matts level and make every scam so basic, that people fall for it.

I see Elijah Oyefeso, another trading scammer originating from the Southampton area has been jailed after attacking someone he ripped off.

The article provides a glimpse into the truth behind the social media lies and bullsh1t - borrowing money to fund a fake lifestyle, angry creditors at every corner. Why do you think Matt Travis moves house every 6 months and changes the company name 3 times in a year? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4914564/Playboy-City-trader-23-jailed-dangerous-driving.html

Judge Christopher Parker QC, condemned Oyefeso's actions and accused him of lying about his business acumen and wealth. He said: 'You portrayed yourself as a very successful trader within the financial market. 'Clearly this is not the case.'

Jamie Gammon, defending, said that while his client conveyed a champagne lifestyle online, his finances told a drastically different story. He told the court: 'He makes a number of claims about his wealth but I have seen no evidence of this.

I guarantee within the next year we'll see some articles coming out about Southampton's No.1 Conor Mcgregor impersonator. The report to creditors for the bankruptcy of MTAlive Ltd is coming soon and will make very interesting reading about the behaviour of Mike Douglas and Matt Travis and the tens if not hundreds of thousands the company owes.

Oops, more hilarious lies from Matt Travis - he's too forgetful to be a convincing liar! So he made a million in one day once, but has only made 2 million in 4 years?

From yesterday:

Two screenshots below - Matt Travis posts a video at 11:50am with an analysis of how you can make "s**t loads of money" on EURJPY.

He then posts at 20:57 a screenshot of his trades for the day, an overall loss but no EURJPY trade in sight, just two trades on USDCAD and GBPAUD.

Yet more proof of how Matt doesn't actually take his own trades, and how he encourages "students" to place trades on yen pairs due to larger spread commissions for himself on these particular currencies. He can't even fake his own demo account losses convincingly when he's trying to appear humble!

MTA University is no more... They have been forced to change name due to not being a university in any way shape or form, and banned from claiming that their course is free when actually it is not.

The new name for MTA is "Trade with MTA"

Supposedly Matt and James were in a car crash yesterday, any truth to this?

It's all speculation at the moment, but one story is that the car crash story is a smoke screen, and that the real reason Matt and James have gone silent is that the FCA have shut them down and they've been arrested.

Matt posted on Facebook about 3 hours ago that he's suffering from mental illness due to all of the negative press about him, and that he's stepping away from Facebook for a while as of tomorrow and won't be contactable for a while...

I can tell you for a fact that the Advertising Standards Agency are behind forcing them to drop the claims of being a university, and claiming that their courses are free. They will be publishing their decisions on the 31st of January on the ASA website. The ASA don't have much bite though so I doubt this alone is the reason for the 'car crash' story and sudden disappearance.

Matt Travis seems to have deleted his facebook page now...

Dan Newman has posted on Facebook that Matt and James have been arrested and released on bail pending further investigation and the FCA are also investigating their business practices regarding taking money for courses that were then never delivered.

In the last few days a hastily written "refund policy" was added to the footer of the MTA site, presumably an attempt to justify their behaviour in terms of not refunds for services which were not delivered. "MTA Refund Policy. For any subscriptions or payments made, after 28 working days of the initial payment being received we have a strict no refund policy."

Google cache shows that this refund policy was not on the site before the 10th of January - https://webcache.googleusercontent....akeover.com/contact+&cd=4&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

All the Facebooks of Matt's family and associates have been locked down in the last 24 hours - Matt's parents, Peter Love, etc. They were previously wide open on public privacy settings, now set to maximum privacy. I wonder how Peter Love feels about his supposed £250k investment in MTA now?

Definitely something going on!
