I don`t think, you could use MT technology for trading futures. Just forex and sometimes a few cfds on cash indices and equity are available.

You are right, just a few companies offering CFD on the Future Indices.
Activtrades is one of that companies.

in live trading I've no experience with Activtrades but from the Pre-Sales Communication
i would say they are a try worth.

I'm not very interested in that FX stuff, I like to trade indices- regardless of the fact if it's cash or future. Unfortunately there are too less brokers which offers these products.

I'm in a group of traders who are doing research in all that MT stuff. There is so much shade and to less light in the business and it is really hard to find a reliable brokerage company where you can run a trading system safely.

What I can say is that the Activtrades Future runs simultaneously with the Data Feed of the Exchange (eSignal). I've made several screen records during the FED decisions and I guess this is a good indication if a datafeed is ok or not.

btw. What is your intention (will you use EA's for trading) and which Indices do you prefer?

thanks for your reply, currently i´m running a portfolio of self programmed systems with interbankfx and would like to expand that to dax and dow, maybe also crude oil. in any case i´m planning to have 2 or 3 parallel mt4 platforms running to diversify the risk and trading styles (i´m demoing activtrades and odl at the moment)
it´s interesting though that the results of the eas are quite different for the same instrument on different platforms.

Sounds interesting tornhill! I like the idea with parallel testings. Just yesterday I've read several topics (elsewhere) where user reports about differencies in the data feeds. I'll PM you the Link later.

Btw. Would you share your experiences with your testings?
