Mac/PC chat help

Does anyone know of a piece of voice chat software that is compatible? or are they all able to talk to each other?

I have MSN messenger atm but want to chat with a mac user who has ichat. Is there anything that i can use? preferably free.

You could try Paltalk, I think that it is compatible with all Operating Systems and is free. Failing that the Mac user could install a piece of software called virtual pc that lets Mac users load Wndows applications.
