Hi All

Glad to be back to post & free from a facility today. We had an awesome company picnic last Friday. The event was held at Lake St Clair metropark. Good food Good folks & Good football. Very nice for Serenity House to treat us all to an amazing day. Thank You.

This Saturday is the dream cruise. My Dad & i made plans to cruise woodward together. Really neat event.

Renewed our family fantasy football league for the year. Draft is coming up soon in a few weeks. I came in 2nd place last year.

Plan to post up again aftet the market closes on the day.

Hi All.

Decent day here at serenity house. We have been taking care of our health with trips to pcp dentist & psychiatrist. I have a sleep study appointment for Thursday. Feels great to be free & stable enough to attend.

Stocks have been a little inconsistant recently. Our green growth portfolio is even on the day last i checked. On the year we are still looking great. Its a wise way to spend a day when we invest in planet earth.

Hope we all enjoy a nice day.

Green growth was up .5% today.

Dream cruise is tomorrow.

If the weather is nice we plan on rolling up Woodward to Pontiac.

Climate Change is Real

Wildfires are only getting worse. There has been historic flooding in parts of the midwest this past week. These severe weather events will only get worse without change. There was a hurricane approaching hawaii last i checked as well.

We must demand a safe future. Work united to save our planet. We have the ability to utilize renewable energy. We have a choice. Lets choose to transition into clean & green energy.

Anyone interested can read the latest on the midwest floods here.

Let me share a view.

The utility company may not want people to know about this but I do.

Most people would like to own a home but dont have enough money to just purchase a house. So we go to the bank & take out a mortgage so we can eventually own our homes. Most everything in our homes we own.

What if we set up a 2nd mortgage to own our utilities? Image paying the same amount of money you would pay a utility company per month on a mortgage for a rooftop solar installation? What if after 5 to 7 years of paying off a 2nd mortgage you could own your own utilities?

Better yet, if your solar power generates a surplus of energy you could sell it for a profit? Instead of a bill in the mail you recieve a check from your utility company to cash? This is all possible now. You would be doing such a good deed for our planet. Its a smart investment for not only our finances but our future.

If anyone is interested in a tasty new lasagna recipe check this one out.

1 box lasagna noodles
1 pound sirloin ground beef
5 hot italian sausages
1 32oz crushed marzano tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic
1 package fresh basil
1 32oz ricotta cheese
2 lbs mozzerela shredded cheese
1 lb shaved parmesan cheese
Tbsp olive oil

First start by baking sausage for 25 to 30 minutes at 375

While waiting on the sausage, brown the sirloin burger on medium high heat until cooked through.

Prepare the fresh basil by destemming all the stalks. Finely chop all the leaves.

Prepare the garlic cloves by cutting the root end off so you can peel easier. Once peeled grate them through an upside down fork. It releases all the juice and crushes the garlic up real nice.

I like to saute the garlic & basil for a few minutes in olive oil before adding into the sirloin burger.

In a large sauce pot combine the marzano tomatoes & cup of heavy cream. Simmer on medium low heat.

Once the sausage is cooked pull them out of the oven & let them stand until they are cool enough to handle. Cut them on a bias in bite size pieces.

Add the sausage & burger to the sauce. Simmer on medium low heat. If the sauce starts to bubble up dial back the heat.

Time to assemble the lasagna

Coat a medium large holiday pan with a nonstick spray or olive oil. Start with a layer of Sauce then Noodle then Ricotta then Mozzerella. Repeat 3 times. On the last mozzerella top with all the shaved parmesan. Make sure to pack the noodles in tight. Do your best to spread the riccotta cheese out over the noodles evenly.

Once finished with assembly wrap the top of the holiday pan up tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake for 1 hour on 375.

Spicy Sausage Tomato Cream Lasagna

5 cheese texas toast goes great on the side

If you prefer low spice just use the mild italian sausage.

I like to use a little seasoning on the ground beef when cooking.
