Lost My Shares Certificate - Help

Hi guys,

Sorry to be a pain, I hope this is the correct forum too.

I bought some shares for a company in the uk and now I would like to sell them. I have lost my certificate of purchase of these shares. What can I do now?

Write to the registrars and request a replacement certificate.

HSBC

Each plc has a registrar. Contact the company to find out whose theirs is.

This is not a disaster. The registrar is usually a professional service and well used to this kind of stuff. Find out who they are from web site, or the company secretary, and they will have procedures to sort this out fairly easily for you
