Hi Everyone,

Im fairly new to cable....

It looks from the current position compared to 8.45am using fibonacci ret, its using the 38.2% level (1.783) as support. Do you think it will break the 1.788 level ? but from what i see im thinking its going to reverse ?

Your thoughts and advice are apprerciated !

Big Ben..yielded a very nice and quick 30 pips this morning

the 7-8am bar was quite narrow, so it could have gone either way.

seems like we are drifting towards a quick Big Ben, then "possibly" a HANS123 ( wait to see over a few weeks of hans123) !

Yes, Big Ben works nice most of the time. But Hans123 also did OK yesterday. Anyone knows the Hans-range today?

This is my own score: If I have waited just 5 min to close the positions, it would have been even better. I don't know what "the official" results from the Hans123-thread are..

Kaffee,

Thank you. I know I sound stupid, but where do you find this Hans123 thread?

PS. Maybe we should make a combination of Big Ben and Hans123?

It's in this thread.

With regard to the strat.... I've watched Hans for about 2 months now and a couple of observations:-

1) The morning session is the winner
2) You need to apply a cut off time to applying the trades, last night he opened a cable trade at
8pm.... odds against that doing anything must have been pretty good.

3) There is a great deal of time just sat staring at the screen.... to move the trade to breakeven.

Kaffee,

1. The thread at StrategyBuilder?
2. I suppose the morning Hans123 is just Big Ben King Size?
3. Yes, that why we should focos on the morning trades - and the big US eco news in the afternoon.

Yes, Hans posts his trades nearly every day.

Yes, timeframe smaller (but more prone to whipsaws) on Big Ben. JohnnyT advised not to apply a filter to a breakout whereas Hans123 does.. and there is talk on his thread of increasing it to 13 (which apparently works well on the Euro to stop false entry points.

I was about to post waiting for 837 but we just got there

So short 37 looking for 50 pips

baruch, what on earth made you close cable at 1.7862 when it was retesting support?

great hindsight calls though, keep up the good work.
