I have had trading education from 2 very reputable and large companies to become a professional day trader. However after some experience and learning the futures market I have come to realize many of the trading techniques and strategies taught by those companies require much too much risk to reward.

I would say to forget about what you have learned in the past and enter Trading Advantage with an open mind. Trading Advantage will teach you every aspect of trading from the emotional to the technical.

Since becoming a member and student of Trading Advantage I have begun to feel like a professional trader.

Trading Advantage education is the best I've ever been involved with. Their material are excellent and improve all the time as market conditions might warrant.

There is no better instructor than Patrick Assalone.

TA has 2 great trading rooms. One with Dan O'Brien that does mostly scalping trading techniques. Another trading room with Patrick Assalone that focuses on Market Profile, swing trading, scalping and other proprietary strategies. Both trading rooms have and many professional and very knowledgeable traders who are also a great source of education and a great help to fellow students.

If you want to be successful just give Patrick 10% of the effort he puts into you and you will be successful. TA is your team.

Also, you do not need a large account to get started and trade the techniques TA teaches. they teach you how to take money from the market.

Mr. Levin and his head traders have worked to update comprehensive manuals covering their trading methodology. They provide on-line live trading experience in two rooms. One is focused on Market Profile short term trades, the other is predominantly focused on short term scalping.

The program is not inexpensive, but it is comprehensive. Recent customer service issues have been dealt with. Note: the on-going cost for the platform and brokerage associated with it are not included in the price of the program.

Trading is a tough business. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it. The program is realistic in term of setting expectations, learning how to limit losses, and learning the application of Market Profile Theory. Success can't be guaranteed in this business of e-mini S & P futures trading. This program, however, I believe will help me towards making me a successful trader.

TA is awesome! I've spent a lot of time and money exploring other educational companies that over promised and under delivered on the promises they made to their students. Trading Advantage should be renamed Trading Integrity - the company and instructors provide more than they promise, are willing to show trades real time and post all their results. Want to learn how they do it? The instruction manuals go beyond offering trade set ups - they also address specific market context recommendations and illustrate each one of the trades set ups they teach. Still need more information? attend one of the several hours of weekly classes or participate in the live trading rooms and ask, simple as that.

If you want to learn with "real live traders" and get real live results using a program that works, TA is my Top Pick.
And BTW: as far as I can tell, this is the only company that will teach you scalping techniques and swing trading using the Market Profile.

I've been a lifetime member of Trading Advantage for about 4-5 months now, and couldn't be happier. After a couple of months training and sim trading, I went live and have easily re-couped the initial fee, plus some. It's all gravy now. Just last night, when none of the trading rooms were open, but using the techniques and rules I've been taught, I made an incredible number of points before bedtime. I've recruited several friends, and they're all making immediate profits just by following Dan O'Brien's trading room, even though they don't yet fully understand the methodology.

If you want to learn anything in life, the best way is to find a mentor and learn what he/she teaches you. That's what Levin's course does. You can learn scalping or you can learn to trade on a longer time period. You can go into either room and ask questions and have your questions answered immediately like you'd expect from a mentor.

I am confident that I made the right decision to learn from these guys. I am learning techniques and utilizing tools that I don't believe I could get anywhere else. I was so satisfied with the progress I made with my initial trading course that I gladly upgraded my membership to lifetime.

Mr. Gamma Neil, the guy who thinks he has a gotcha question, if you're indeed interested in learning how to trade the markets, which I sincerely doubt, why don't you call them and ask for a demo? They don't do hard sells anymore. If you call just to inquire and it turns out you're not interested, you can say "thanks but no thanks." But you aren't really interested in this course, are you? Something tells me you're just a troll causing trouble.

I see many posts about Trading Advantage and would like to chime in by saying that my many prior years of trading were going nowhere until I went through Larry Levin's Consistent Trader course. I don't know how I traded without Volume from the Market Delta Chart and now with Market Profile as well, the consistency is extremely high. Trading Advantage is comprehensive and "It Works!!"

I have attended many trading courses and I think these guys are the real deal. You will learn things that you would never find in any other trading course. The mentoring quality is second to none. It is very personal and the help you receive from fellow students/experienced traders is also invaluable. The trading room has a 'family feel' to it. I congratulate Larry, Dan O Brien and Patrick Assalone for the work well done. My trading has improved tremendously since joining the programme. The fees are not cheap, but is certainly well worth every penny

Unfortunately, some of you won't be happy no matter what any of we satisfied customers have to say. Some of you even have to resort to name-calling, such as "Larry's Spam Spittles". When one has to resort to name-calling and putdowns to make others look bad, especially in an anonymous forum like this, it says something about your character, like it or not. And why in the world would I post my trading statements for a bunch of total strangers. It wouldn't prove that I trade with Trading Advantage, only that I trade. My trading account isn't linked in any way to TA. All of you doubters might search through the recent posts, and find one from Ellen Sears. Ellen is a personal friend of mine, and I'm a member of her TA user group. Ellen was a professional market maker for something like 40 years, and she knows more about trading, and how the markets work, than most of the rest of us put together. When she uses and recommends a service such as TA, it's worth taking notice. It's unfortunate that some of you appear to only want to pick others apart. If you've had a bad experience, that's regrettable. And if you don't want to be in on the action, fine, but please don't criticize me for making a personal decision that happens to be working out extremely well. As I said in my original post, I've recruited several of my friends, who are already enjoying some success with TA, even though they aren't even close to fully understanding the service. I will continue to heartily recommend the service to anyone who wants to improve their success rate. It's true that TA is not the Holy Grail, it doesn't mow my lawn, wash my car, or do my laundry. Have a nice life.

As someone who is interested in trading, I don't think I would launch into any course without prior research and / or love for markets. Personally I am a part-time trader but joined many moons ago now.

I think it is VERY odd that so many subscribed traders haven't ever heard of / bother to join the T2W forum.

I also don't believe the teaching can be that good. Trading is all about experience - end of.

I have already privately e-mailed Mr. Gamma in order to work out an intensive trial and preview of what we do here at Trading Advantage. We are currently trying to get together on the best way to proceed. I'm sure he will be thoroughly impressed if he goes into it with an open mind.

As for my take on "Legendary Members"... I would bet that most of them struggle to make money in the markets as much as the next guy. The fact that you spend more time blogging on T2W does not make you a good trader!

I believe Tubbs is right. Experience IS the golden grail when it comes to trading, but having a qualified mentor to guide you through your early experiences sure does help along the way.

I recently Joined T/A. I have been trading Equities for years. I found that my methods didn't work nearly as well with futures. I met Larry and Patrick @ an event and they explained their program and it's benefits specifically as it applies to ES.

I had heard of Market Profile and never really understood it. I now have much better understanding of its concepts and can more consistently identify areas of support and resistance

Their Customer Service and support has been fantastic. Overall I am very pleased with the program.
