Where can I find a kind of comprehensive list of which indicators are considered lagging and which indicators are considered leading and does variation in time frame on charts affect whether an indicator is considered lagging or leading. For example I use Macd and trix on a 15 minute chart...I understand that a trix in that situation is leading...but is a trix on a 30 minute chart a lagging indicator when compared to a macd on a 15 minute chart? I hope my question makes sense.

By basic definition, any indicator built using historical data is lagging. The further the lookback involved, the more lagging. MACD is extremely lagging because its an MA on top of a pair of MAs.

Indicators by their nature are lagging as they all use historic data in one form or another. The best leading indicator is the MARKET INTERNALS.
