I'm pretty sure Eurex Euro denominated index futures open at 8am Central European time (or 7 am GMT).

If you are looking to trade the Dax Future with Direct Market Access (DMA), then I don't think the platform is free. I know GNI Touch do a platform but you have to pay for it or be a high volume trader to get it free.

If you are looking to spreadbet or CFD the index, these platforms are free. Try IG Markets or IG Index.
