If you are challenged don't get offended or take it personally

Take exception to whatever you choose. Colour, race, gender, socio-economic grouping, height, bearing, eye set or colour...whatever.
That should minimise the time you are required to 'serve'.
I've always found is an inexplicable imposition that we are expected to believe 12 non-informed and largely uninterested people are in a position to 'judge' THE TRUTH.
All they are there for is to appreciate the relative merits of the abilities (or lack of) of the defence and the prosecution in making what seems to be the most likely case.
They are swayed by what they are told and the manner and force of conviction of the person making the case rather than by any objective issue which could be subject to empirical evaluation.
Just bear in mind - either legal side could switch at a moment's notice and be equally impressive arguing the other side's case - and quite as convincingly. This ability would I imagine, make for a rather good trader. In fact, Mr. Rivalland makes a decent living from both endeavours. Good man.
However, I have always felt that 'Law' should have paramouncy over the more often quoted 'oldest profession'. I also believe it has less inherent dignity too... at least with a whore you know how much it's going to cost up front...('scuse the pun)
