I can thoroughly recommend Alan's 1-2-1. He's da man!

I second that! Alan will not just show you the tricks, he will first find out what type of trader you are (ie., a scalper) and taylor the session to your needs ( he also paid lunch in the pub! A real gentlenman), in the peace and quiet of his home.
I strongly recommend him. :D

Alan Rich is the guy who I was trying to remember a few months back when somebody asked me 'who's a good trainer'.

Never been on a course with him, don't even know him but over the last 3-4 years many of the regulars on this board have only had good things to say about him and I think that speaks some volume.

I've met Alan on a 1-2-1 and, yes, he's very good. But, as Zenda points out, he specialises in day trading Nasdaq stocks via direct access with particular emphasis on level II.

As an aside, this thread has been dormant since January and Zenda has re-activated it. As anyone who clicks on the link provided in his post will discover, the attractive young lady in the profile is not the person who is pictured in the link conducting the seminars.

Tim.

has anybody know how much Alan Rich course cost. Thanks.

Alan is very good in my view too, my also having done his 121. Although like anything in this world, you have to put in the spade work yourself.

Haven't met John, even though he lives pretty near me... but forex doesn't really float my boat. Nasdaq stocks do- more opportunities, in my view, that suit my trading style. Personal choice that's all.

i wouldnt pick either of them... i have no idea who they really are.. i have no idea what they are capable of.. i have no idea what their credentials are.. i have no idea what their motives are..

tell you what id rather slog my gutts out than pay a single penny to anyone.. when it comes down to it you are the only person you can trust and believe in..

dont fall into the trap of being taken advantage of by someone who preys on others.. itll be your own fault if it happens

cheers [/QUOT

Well, I do know Alan, he is a real gentleman as much as by his behaviour socially or professionally - the way he coaches 1-2-1, taylored to one's need, rather than imposing his style on you.
He accept questions, explains what he does and why, and also accepts your position and belefs-if you feel that something will not work for you, he will not patronise you or treat you as an ignorant, but come up with suggestions on how to improve on your point of views.
The point is - he listens! He doesn't need to do seminars nor to coach at all - that much was evident after he took his trades in front of me on what ended up being a difficult market, and yet ended up in profit (how much was it? $2500? I don't remember) all while instructing me on how the trade was selected, how it was managed, etc..
So why does he do it? Try to spend all day long at home on your own, day after day, between four walls, and you'll know the answer! :!:

I bought Johns CD on spread betting, and being a beginner I found it very informative and helpful.
