Have been called by these guys, re: shares, etc.

They do research for the big finance houses, and they also offer this advice to the private investor.
They dont make any money directly, as they steer prospective investors to Cazenove or JP Morgan.
They only offer advice on FTSE-250, FTSE-350 or Nasdaq stocks. ( not AIM ).

Seem legit and above board.
Although they are based on Luxembourg, the stock purchases are done by above companies in the UK, so I suspect people should be relieved. ( FSA backed and all that )

Guy sounded ok - no hard sell.

Anybody else get a call from them, or have dealt with them ?

do excuse me, I don't read the society pages so if you are in fact seriously overloaded with dosh then I heartily apologise, but I assume you're down here in pleb city with me.... so why would they phone you?
Luxembourg is not somewhere I associate with financial rigour, but given that the top name broker types couldn't pick their collective schnozzles (all those 'buy ratings' are bad enough, but calls of 'hello Mr Broker, I'd like to outperform £10,000 of VOD' strike me as downright silly) what makes you think they picked you to impart the wisdom of the ages to?

Not being puncy here, except to make the point - cold calling is worth the price of the call, unless the caller is likely to know insider stuff and they have a special reason to like you... then it might be profitable, we'll overlook the legality for now as 'profitable' is harder to achieve than 'legal' <g>

I do researchon all sorts, I suppose I could post it to the department of works (who probably haven't existed since 1947 for all I know) and then tell people I supplied research to HM Gov.... techincally maybe, but did they want it and was it worth anything?

Personally I wind such calls up by offering a Ford Escort, 4 yrs old, 8 months MOT, low mileage in reply... I find they tend to lose interest in playing silly b****s <g>

Unfortunately, I am not, as yet, overloaded with dosh.
I appreciate your scepticism (sp) regarding this post.

My purpose was to establish to the T2W community that such a compnay exists, and what they say they do.
And also to serve as a focal point for any shared info.
Primarily to help us avoid the "Edward Tate" experience, where people had already parted with money to a scam set-up. I cannot comment whether they are or not.

Interested in buying a brain, well-cared-for,house-trained. Unwanted thoughts.
Any offers ?

I NEVER buy cold called brain offers... <g>
Appreciate the Ed Tate reference, I'm an out and out cynic, oddly enough I find the more cynical I get, the more optimistic I get that things will turn out okay! Buy beans, you can never have too many beans....
