Is this site a scam?

Do you mean literally steal, by cloning your credit card etc.? Signals services don't need to steal money like that, they generally offer a very basic service which costs them next to nothing to deliver, at a very high subscription price. No chance of them going to jail.

Not necessarily a scam strictly speaking either - I'm sure they use signals that can be demonstrated on a chart - but any fool, even me, can put 2 MAs on a price chart and draw an X where they cross - it's just a very expensive way to back up your trades.

With reference to your comment on 2 MA's crossing. Please explain do you have any evidence that these can be used successfully to enter and exit trades profitably?
 
MA crossovers are the simplest TA entry signal. The principle is that rising prices force a short period MA to cross upwards through a longer period MA, which is also rising, and this indicates an entry point into an uptrend. Vice versa for short entries into a downtrend.

It looks beautiful in theory but needs very disciplined management of stops and risk to make it work. The problem is that whatever period MAs you choose the system gives many false entry signals as price in any market spends much time ranging sideways: in such periods you could be getting many losers for every winner.
 
yes I am aware of what ma crossover systems are I just wanted to know if you had any EVIDENCE that they can be successful.

If you're clever enough to get that PG cert then why the f*** are you looking at sh1tty scammy signal services?
What use is brains if you can't turn them on outside the classroom?
 
This is what I hate about this site. I ask a simple question and apart from the helpful replies of Tomorton I just get a load of crap in response. Tomorton - thanks for your response I will start another thread on the subject of MA crossovers.

I thought this was a forum, at least that is what I thought I clicked on! Where people ask questions and engage in debate to further themselves. Why do people want to reply and say 'I cant believe you are asking that question' really its just pathetic.

Before you reply and say 'no you started it', you have a small willy etc. I just dont care, I only want to engage with intelligent positive people. Just whatever you think is ok, you are the greatest trader that ever lived, fine.
 
All we're saying is stop looking and sh1tty sites. you post redundant questions, you get redundant/lulzy answers. No need to get the tampax out.

Get your crossovers thread started then. I be following for one :D
 
I doubght the site is a "scam" as such, however I think that the signals generated by the site are more than likely going to come from a computer not a human.

The issue I have is the fact that there are plenty of free indicators for metatrader which you can download and use for free, so why pay.

The only "signal service" worth paying for is one that's run by real human traders. I seriously doubt such a service even exists and the next best thing you are going to get is a fully managed forex account.
 
If you have a look at the special offers on the site. They look to good to be true. And in life if something looks to good to be true it ...................

I believe you could get such a service from zulutrade. This is a site that allows you to link your account with any of the ranked traders on the site. When the trader initiates a trade your account will open the same trade.

Be careful with those sites like zulutrade. In many cases the signals with the best results are hiding their losing trades by keeping them open. I've seen a few that looked good when you glance at the percentages but then you discover their open losing trades wipe out all the profits.

You will see many reviews where subscribers never get close to the published results. There's no easy money to be had I'm afraid.
