Same old story of a once great British company tearing itself apart.
When oh when will big Brit companies take on board the idea of survival ! BA looks like its going down the same old route of 20th century. Stroppy Unions versus poor management equals disaster every time.

It doesn't take much to realize that a company like BA is worth saving. Once gone it will never make a return. The expertise and company spirit will have gone for good, along with thousands of jobs.

If only greedy managent would treat their workers as equals in a team effort. Not as just so many idiots to make money with.

Their outlook is grim indeed. The story of British Leyland/Rover and all the rest doesn't seem to have taught the greedy fatcats at the top anything at all. The same old grab the maximum amount of cash and run !!

Makes me sick !!(n)

news is news and can be dangerous to follow

price action is out right bullish , drop in crude late friday should give it more fuel to fly up to double top @ £2.45

and then we will encounter turbulence

I'd see it as a buying opportunity personally.

It's a shame that it's got the legacy of heavy unionisation, but still.

As for bosses vs workers, I would say that the fault lies with the unions, not management.
