I'm newbie and

Don't, 99% chance you'll lose money unless you trade with rockbottom commissions and have lighting access to the markets.

Hello there, i have been a looker for this forum and i can tell there a lot of wise individual who are willing to help other, i'm glad i found this site by accident.

I started doing this a few months ago and it has been a humbling experience. I have been able to make money, but have made more for the broker and nearly as much for Mr Darling as for myself. My biggest mistakes - 1) crap brokers 2) trading UK equities (stamp duty) 3) inadequate preparation.

My strategy - read the news, research actively from 0700-0755, trade 0800-0900 or until I have cleaned up the mess I made between those hours. Research for several hours in the evening.

But in today's market, how can you lose money? Oh, I remember, buy something just before it gets delisted.

Good luck!

like to get some advice on how to be scapling trader-

Buy a few scaplings. Dave on the market should be able to help with that, just don't let him lag you over on the price.

Then wait till the summer. Everyone will want 'em them as they all start tarting up their gardens. Make sure you feed them in the meantime.

With the money you make, start again - buy a few off Dave (or maybe One Arm Ron down in Whitechapel - he's always good for a tickle). Head up to that posh gastro-boozer off Columbia Road on a Sunday and pitch up there. You'll knock em out to the hoxton crowd easy.

Bingo - you're now a bona fide scapling trader.

Obviously the green shoots of recovery are already beginning to appear.

Hoxton crowd? They'd be round the back of the stall nicking them, not buying them.

I can possibly help you out. Scalping really is no different than swing trading... Just the time frame. = /
They are all candle sticks to me in the end anyway. I'll send you a PM.

I been buying stocks for a year and keep it long, when i bought SBUX last year i was hoping it will go up and instead it went down and lost half of my investment, mistake. Now i'm buying by researching Price/Volume to avoid a lot of lost, i may not avoid mistake but by trying it, i can minimize it.
