IG Spike on FTSE

Hi,

On IG the FTSE 100 spiked by 50+ points at 15:10 today, I'm interested to know if this was the market or a glitch by IG as it cost me about £400 today.

Could you check your FTSE chart and tell me if you see the spike. I've looked on google/yahoo and can't see it - but they are hardly reliable sources. Thanks.

Would I be correct in thinking that all these firms mentioned flipped their spreads to handle the extreme volatility to prevent being caught offside (and thus possibly annoyed a few of their clients by hitting their stops) or did they honor their bets like gentlemen and fill limit orders at the requested levels?

doubt it but would have ripped arm off longs.
