How to start Financial Spread Betting Exchange

Hi all,

I'm an investor in the NY area looking to develop my own financial spread betting exchange to the public, one that parrallels the features of IG Markets, particularly its sub Nadex; but with my own alogorithms and innovations. Outside of regularoty constraints, I'm particularly curious on the following:
1) Best way to start developing a market for supply and demand
2) Capital needed
3) Barriers to Entry
4) How to attract market makers

step 1. find out some more basics about the industry - then you will realise some of your questions are irrelevant.

one thing for sure is that your idea is a good one as these board prove the amount of people willing to throw money at people offering such services despite the obvious bucket shop nature of such enterprises. i too am looking at this. i think cmc markets actually have an out of the box solution you can white label.
