These commissions are at least 10 times more expensive than Interactive Brokers.

See the minimum activity fee. It is $99.95/month unless you have $100,000. That puts us back at square one when I said you would need at least that much to trade.

My number to start trading the emini S&P 500 considering all details already mentioned including (trade as a business and make money, whilst paying for market data and pay your bills) is US$ 100.000 (minimum). This is my personal figure.

I would like to see exactly how you came up with that figure. Why would you trade only a single instrument from only one asset class of financial instruments?

Why not?. The markets are free to be played as everyone wishes to fit their best interest.

Regarding my figure as I said before, it is not a fixed number. It may vary depending on what you trade (volatility, performance bond, etc), how big you trade it, your trading style and most important drawdowns periods. It is a personal calculation and it is very important that you are well capitalized in order to stand a chance.

Chill, I was only stating that based off historical knowledge of trading with them.
