How Do the Greats Balance Their Holdings?

I mean their is always a star amongst a group of stocks. But how do the greats decide how much to put in a particular stock amongst their holdings?

Balance your holdings. From what perspective? Hedge fund holding 48% or 51% of company? As the board determining optimum utilisation of cash?

Let me ask you this. If you were say Warren Buffet what would you consider was the best way to ensure everyone did well out of Berkshire going forward?

Most of those guys work tirelessly doing research. The more immersed you are in the marketplace and the more time you spend there you start to develop your own opinions in which you can eventually trade. There are no shortcuts in investing.
