Put your mouse over the competition button on the top and select the competition you are looking to enter and you will go to the main competition page. For the Dow competition you will be asked for your prediction on the page. For the share competition there is a link in red that says something like, "make your first trade now". That will take you to your portfolio, where you will find £50,000 and you can enter the ticker symbols for the shares you wish to short or buy and how much you wish to invest. Hope this helps.
