homepage suggestion

On the homepage in the list of latest posts. When you click on the hyperlink is it not possible to take you to the latest post :?: . I find I am always placed at the first post at the beginning of the thread, some of these threads are several pages. A bit of a hassle.

If you click on the yellow arrow on the RHS you will be taken to the most recent post.

Helen's right on the latest posts since you last visit - but from the front page there's no shortcut at present.

Thanks for the suggestion Nastyitch, it makes sense to link directly to the latest post and I'll change it this week.

That's what I usually do, though my suggestion saves having to load an extra page, no big deal but makes life that teeny bit easier.

It's taken a few weeks, but I've now implemented your suggestion - no more looking for the new post, you're taken straight there from the thread links of the front page.
