hello i am a new member,and i would like to ask a historical question. does anyone know, if the commodities markets opened at a different time, such as tte stock market changing from 10:00am to 9:30 in 1982. any answer is appreciated. r2219
I don't go back far enough to remember specifically, but I can just about guarantee it to be the case. The commoditie markets have been around for a long, long time. Lots of things have changed over the years - like how long trades took to settle. You can be sure that there were some fluxuations long the way. Why not check with the exchanges?
