Anybody knows about trading/analytical software Linux compatible?
I tried to use EasyLanguage, but Python http://www.python.org/ would be much better.
Is there any trading soft using Python as indicator scripting language available?

Moved from US stocks forum to software forum - please always choose the forum most relative to your new thread. Thanks.

You can try actiTRADER (http://www.actitrader.com). It is freeware tool for implementation of mechanical trading systems. It is pure Java application, therefore it's Linux compatible.

If you have some Windows software then try running it under WINE.

I have a metastock and ASCII downloader which retrieves free EOD data. This works fine under WINE. OMNITRADER (EOD version) which I use as my TA analysis software also works. I haven't tried Metastock V9 yet but will get round to this later.

I'm running SUSE pro v 9.0 on a machine which I also can run Windows XP via dual boot.

I'd like to get Ms free at some stage.
