Hello and Help?

Hey everybody,

As the thread title would imply I am new! I also have a quick question for people seeing as I am sure a lot here shall be more knowledgeable than I on the subject. I am just about to finish University with a non-business related degree, however I am desperately looking to get into the Finance market. I have come across many scam sites (and even signed up to a few!) before realising the obvious. The problem is that everywhere seems to want you to already be part qualified. Is there anywhere/way to get into this area of business without qualifications? I must say as well that I have already sent out many applications to banks and local companies etc but to no avail. ANY help on this would be VERY much appreciated!

Em, If you want to go work as a trader for an institution the standard route is at least a 2.1 (pretty much any subject) from a top-tier university with internships, summer programmes and placements thrown in with a view to getting on their graduate scheme. Or an MSc in finance from somewhere good would probably do the trick too.
