I seem to be getting only accepted on trades that go offside on me.

6 trades 5 rejections.

y dont you just go thru an ecn?

As of tomorrow. I've been setting up the account the last few days. I'm not really price sensitive, but IG are starting to take the pee. It's annoying having to click buy and sell so many times. tax free ECN.

I have had this recently... when i sell in profit i have received

"Unavailable, market rolling over"

And by the time the price is filled it fills at a worse level, i was enticed over to a different firm by
a member on here for CFD's and it turns out that this happens even more often, but its the same platform

I dont get why IG would reject orders?!

I mean end of the day its better t pay tax on profits you have made than not pay tax on trades you missed. Yoiu doint get a recoup on the losses do you?!

(and anyway Im not a tax advisor so take ur own advise etc)

Lol tax schmax, a tax free bank account in the Seychelles can get round that ;)

1426 trades stick out to me, £50pp trying to exit a few minutes after.
TBH like others have said go ecn, trying to scalp or day trade @ 50pp with any SB will probably get the same reaction...
TBH SB is best for swing trading really.

People who have never traded DMA (and I assume you haven't) think that bad fills are something only evil spread-betting and CFD's brokers do to their clients. I'm not saying they are completely trustworthy, but two days ago I had a fill on the ES that was around 0.5 points away from the best bid at the time I clicked the exit. This happens quite frequently actually in the grand scheme of things

my new setup. ECN spreadbetting forex. there was a level at 20 and i left a stop at 16, it was good in the end, but it held up for 3 mins, so i decided to bail.
