Well the cost of a haircut has doubled in 6 months. What has occurred for this to happen? Has the hairdresser increased his considerable skills?
Erm..nope.
Have his overheads increased significantly?
Erm...nope.
Is he performing an extra service?
Erm...nope.
Is the hairdresser taking more time than usual?
Erm...nope
Has he recently completed a university degree therefore somehow entitling him to more money?
Erm...NOPE
SO WHY THE FE* has a haircut gone from £10 to £20? That's £40 to £60 an hour. I repair computers when I'm not trading and can only get away with charging £20 per hour max, much less on a major job so how the h*ll can you get away with charging that Sonny Jim??
Supply and demand?
Mr Braun made another sale yesterday. Now that's market forces in action.
