I'm new to this forum and to swing trading, which I really am excited to get into. To hopefully avoid some costly mistakes, I'm doing a good bit of reading ahead of time to learn the patterns and indicators to watch for, strategies, etc. A number of these seem really interesting and that they may hold significant potential but require assessing trends in indicators.
Here is where my issue lies. I cannot find a stock screener that can truly screen on a number of technical indicators. Fidelity, for example, only allows for screening on technical indicator EVENTS, not values or trends of indicators. Any advice anyone has on what screener is out there that is helpful to do this sort of work would be extremely appreciated. I need a way to zero in on stocks that could work for these set-ups I am learning, but I don't have time to comb through thousands of charts daily looking for them manually.
