Globalserver question

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to load data in TS2000i but having problems, sometimes it shows "no data..."
sometimes "waiting for data..." with a black panel instead of a chart.

I send the data from Strategy Runner to excel, then to metaserver and from this to globalserver... What a trip!

After this trip globalserver works!
Strange to say it, but in the performances folder shows connected and it collects data. but, I'm not able to load them in a chart, or see where them are stored.

Could anyone help me?
In addition, is there a way to send data directly to globalserver from strategy runner?

Hi can u help me out.
i hv Metaserver Globalserver & i get data in Metastock format & csv format in Real time.
how can i connect them to get RT data into Globalsever & then to Aget RT TS2000i

Hi,
I can try to help you. Please, let me see some file you use: the data feed file, the symbol you need and in which way it is stated in the globalserver.
Remember as rule, the symbol name in metaserver, must be the same you set in globalserver.

The best way to get everything working fine is to import data into global server, then you can plot chart in both TS and Aget RT.

importing data into global server can be done manually by converting TXT file to xpo file.

1 next time, better NOT pm if such message is a specific knowledge and useful to others.
2 U have to import 1min + day data in xpo format into GS.
3 use full installation of Aget RT instead of only single aget.exe ...make sure aget rt is fully functional.
4 no reason why U get only 1 candle in aget ...plse post pic , perhaps I can help

when i import with the below setting on that pic i get bars hving close prices only on each bars.

1 U use hypertool instead of HC.
2 In fact we have to use tick data but U use 1 min data ...it is still OK but the conversion result which shown in xpo will be "close" value only
3 Nothing wrong as long as U get OHLC bar when U switch to 5...10...15.........60 min time frame
4 How is the plotting on TS ?....if U also get only Close value on chart , it is OK

In conclusion, I believe nothing wrong.

yes i use Hypertool.
no i get close values only in other time frame also in Aget.
in prosuite 2000i its fine i get OHLC bars.

let's test in this way
1. I will send U sample of xpo file, then U import to GS
2 Open TS&Aget charts , make sure both read data from GS
3 U send me back pic of both TS&Aget charts
4 pm to me of your mail, tomorrow I will send U a xpo file

i hv PM u my email.
when i open edit stock in Global server that data shows OHLC values & its shows fine in prosuite 2000i.
so do we need 2 do some setting change in GS?
