My humble opinion, in my country it says "a lot of vine, little grape", ie marketing marketing marketing and then offlines bountifully technical problems behind technical problems, exaggerated fees charged in case of withdrawal or deposit, fines for pay, etc, etc.
Traders, or aspiring to do so, try various brokers, before you throw the head and then the broker reputed thanks.
Good investements at all.

Still see regular spreads on my cfd account ...

Hi Tar,

To date, FXCM's new pricing has already been rolled out to our clients living in the US, UK and Australia. The transition is being done region by region 1) to ensure we follow regulatory requirements for due notice to traders which vary by regulator and 2) to ensure an orderly transition within our own system so as not to negatively impact our traders.

You mentioned that your account is with FXCM UK, but if you live outside of the UK itself, your account may still be on our old pricing. Your forum profile mentions that you live in Jordan. While I do not have information on a transition date for our clients in Jordan at this time, you will receive email notification should a transition date be scheduled.

Yes with fxcm LTD , anyway thanks , doesnt matter that much ...

Trading Hours for End of Daylight Savings Time in the US

Hi Everyone,

Daylight Savings Time will end in the US on Sunday, November 2nd. That means the trading hours for CFDs that follow US market times will shift by one hour starting next week. I've highlighted the changes below in red.

Forex Trading Hours

In terms of New York Time, the trading desk will still open at 5pm on Sunday and close at 5pm on Friday as always. However, since New York Time will shift this weekend from GMT-4 to GMT-5, the trading desk hours will also shift by one hour in GMT terms. Starting next week, the trading desk will open at 22:00 GMT on Sunday and close at 22:00 GMT on Friday

A special note for all MT4 clients on our New York Close servers

The time zone on our New York Close MT4 servers will change this weekend from GMT+3 to GMT+2. In this way, midnight on your MT4 charts will stay in line with the 5pm New York Close. If you have any EAs or indicators that use a GMT offset, please update them to GMT+2 this weekend.

Hi Jason,

Firstly big credit to yourself for your visibility here for all to be shot at. Always like to have a look at what each broker is offering and had a very quick look at your site and was instantly put off for one very simple reason.

You state a private client group that has to either deposit $150,000 or 50 million traded. Such a joke volume relative to opening balance obviously not after a decent trader with big volume. Also will be a club that even the basic newbie will be able to join, so hardly exclusive, and will be a huge number of your FX clients.

And the big question here then, is if you are not interested too much in high volume clients then how are you generating your profits when you are obviously targeting newbies. So revenue from clients loses and not turnover?

Hi kwickwool,

On our NDD forex execution model, FXCM is compensated based on the commission paid for each transaction. This means that FXCM's revenus is driven by volume and not client losses. That is also why we offer increasing account benefits as your account balance and trading volume increases.

Regardless of the account level chosen, all clients get the benefit of trading on raw FX spreads averaging 0.2 pips for EUR/USD and 0.3 pips for USD/JPY on the new pricing model.

Here's a comparison of the account types:

what FXCM apps and programming credit? you pay me 2% of my deposit?

Hi Dong Mu,

FXCM Apps (www.fxcmapps.com) is a site we created with an extensive list of EAs, indicators, and scripts for MT4, FXCM's Trading Station, and Ninja Trader. The site contains apps created by our own programming team as well as from 3rd party developers which you can purchase.

Members of the Private Client Group get a credit in the amount of 2% of their deposit which they can use to purchase app from FXCM Apps or for use with our programming services team. For example, if you deposit $150,000 to join the Private Client Group, you would receive a $3,000 FXCM Apps / Programming Services credit. Our programming services team performs services such as coding automated strategies, building customized API solutions, strategy consulting, and more.

Hi Dong Mu,

If you're asking whether our Programming Services could help you to optimize your code, then the answer is yes.

Your forum profile mentions that you live in China. If you like, I can arrange for one of my colleagues in our Hong Kong office to give you a follow up call to discuss this further. We have specialists who speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Please send me a private message if you're interested in speaking with them.

Thanks,
Jason
