WeighBridge (The one with the wig)
Robster (The one that rythms with lobster)
Gladiator ( The one whos really hot, according to Weighbridge's mum)

Going to participate in a lil' E-mini's/Futures Trading room on Skype;

Mostly to discuss the foods we are eating and also possible tv that might be on later.
Important topics include:
- Me and Weighbridge been watching Misfits, although the episode last week wasn't as good as the first two

Anyone that fancies joining is Maybe, conditionally, welcome.

Basically; News, Rumours, Levels, Trades, Sandwiches, Random shizzle, E-mini related shizzle

:clover: The game is; British people trying to take money from American exchange participants. The game includes some fun outfits and cocktails.

Laters, I must run.

It sounds like just the kind of place where people will get absolutely no financial value from. I'm in. Oh, I already am.

Weighbridge is a bit of a pro actually; So he provides plenty of fianancial value.
In fact today, he accidently made 25 YM points! WOW, VALUE!

Gap closed. I'm out now with a profit for the day but a loss for the week due to some really cr@p trading rather than anything else.

Bit of a come down compared to my monster 34.5pt e-mini move last week.

Do you think this thread will get moved once again? Maybe we can just keep changing the contents so it doesn't fit comfortably anywhere. Like the hobo of all T2W threads.

Certainty Futures is the LAST place it should be; Absolutely NAY people look on here, we'll never get any CV's or applicants.

We need to have a think; To the board room! (na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na, batman)

It has to be in ' General ' thats where the 'hits' are... Maybe the advertisement was a bit poor too; Maybe we should sell our selves a bit better... If only one of us was a Forum Guide!

Black Swan. I don't think he trades futures but he does do a lot of currency pairs. I also personally think he's a damn fine human being from what I've read from him.

Maybe we could subvert him into futures, after all if he can simultaneously trade 9 pairs (christ knows how many screens he's got) maybe diversification would be the key for him, finally leading to a re-promotion of the thread back into general because of it's vagueness.

It's a big plan.

Yes, but if you were one, you'd have moved the thread here, as this is the FUTURES forum and this is a thread about . . ! Or, better still, you'd have started it here in the first place! Actually, your concerns about not being seen aren't that well founded, as most people use the 'New Posts' button which shows all active threads regardless of the forum they're in. So, all you have to do is to keep bumping the thread to get it noticed. The only minor problem there is that there there isn't much to take notice of. If you said, 'come watch us trade and see how we make 2 points in as many minutes trading ES' - you might get more interest.
As a YM man, I'd apply to join myself, but for the fact that I couldn't stand the humilation of being turned down and, more importantly, I spend waaaaay too much time on Skype as it is. Good luck with it anyway chaps.
;)
Tim.

I think the thread title is misleading tbh Tim. Both the thread and the room are probably going to have little substance with regards to trading and probably a lot of substance when it comes to horsing around.

Seriously though, Gladys and I do actually have quite sensible conversations with each other so what might start off as a 'Journal' may evolve into a Skype chat room.

We'll let you know whether you're in. We need an EGM of the membership committee called...............

It's a big plan.
I can't handle this type of pressure...

Black Swan is a nice chap, pretty funny too, he mocks me plenty which is nice because i enjoyed the book ' A mockingbird' or some shizzle like that; About an attorney.

Maybe we should start the journal to arouse interest at best... :smart:

I 'accidently' traded corn today. I don't want to talk about it.

The trading room though, when serious, would be like Goldman sachs; Only with less power, less capital, less workers, less capable workers, worse communications, less office space, BUT we would have lower outgoing costs.

That's our 'Vision' statement. Our 'Mission' statement should 'Here to confuse'

Genius my man, genius.

Corn!! WTF

Be coffee next and we all know just how dull coffee is.

Tim.
Weighbridge trades YM;

Its the equivalent to going on the baby slope when learning to ski...
YM is probably better for scalping though tbh and less algorithms.
Advantage is the tick movements per day.
Disadvantage is losing your masculinity.

We will consider your application, thankyou for your interest.

If people track me in the mornings, i'm usually like a dolphin... Blue.

I'd like to point out here that your avatar shows you as wearing a mask and a skirt. I think Timsk would be a good first member, bit like having a strict yet playful school prefect that everybody likes in the room.

He gets my vote.

Drat! Or some other four letter word if you prefer. Just when I thought I had successfully managed to metamorphose into some kind of ogre that everyone on T2W hated, I find I'm liked after all. Oh well, back to the drawing board on that one.

On a (mildly more) serious note, I'll happily move the thread to an appropriate home once you decide where that might be. As things stand, it's destined to be moved out of here and into 'The Foyer'.

Re. the YM: yes I'm aware of it's reputation as being the lightweight e-mini. It is to futures trading what a Nissan Micra is to cars. But then I'm knocking on a bit and a Micra will, likely as not, be the next car I buy. So I'm probably well suited to it!
Tim.

We'll get back to you on it's home. :D

So what is it; The journal or Trading room? Me and Weigh usually talk market session anyway, may aswell make it Skype.

Also; I got an important topic for the agenda; Xmas presents for mums.

Important news in the S&P 500 Room.

New monitor background!

Pretty Syndy.png

Because i like the colour blue.

In other news;

Bloomberg is on, on a Saturday ??? WHY!

&

ITunes now charges 99pence per song, use to be 80p ? Back to the illegal days.

You actually thought that was me?

Thats an actor; Russell Crowe. From Gladiator - A film.

As for Timsk; Yeah sure - I had one of them prefects;
Head boy.
Everybody liked him, but he was damn strict.

The irony was he was gay and the 'Head boy' - I never got over that one.

Timsk recieves my vote also.
1. He trades YM; Which is a futures market, although hes probably stuck trading Z9.
2. He probably trades differently from me and you, adding another dimension
3. Hes very persuasive.

Giggity Giggity goo.

I'll go for skype too, you little minx. Does Timsk know he's in. Do we issue him with a certificate of membership?

I have a more immediate problem of what to get the Mrs for Christmas. I thought a set of good kitchen knives but then she'd just tie me to the revolving man-size target that I bought her last Xmas which has been sat in the garage all year with no use so far.

You and Weigh can talk about your mums if you like, I'll talk about some interesting german sausages I ate today on the South Bank.

BTW, I genuinely, genuinely thought you were Russell Crowe and have primarily been trying to engage you in conversation on the pretext that I want you to come to my 40th midsummer pagan party next year so you could impress what few friends I have. Now you've declared you're not him, I'm not interested in talking to you. Or is this a double bluff, in which case I'm definitely your best mate ever.

OMG NO WAY! Yesterday i was going to post ' Issues on Sunday: What to get mother?' but i was like ... Na; They'll just call me a douche-bag....

As for your MRS (aka mother) some ideas:
- The Tudors boxset
- Perfume
- The Eyeshadow kit (From D&G)
- I-pod touch?
- An automatic shaver

Thats all i can think of...

As for being Russel Crowe; I'm actually David Beckham, pretending to be Russell; Something to pass the time.

P.s. Sorry about having 'few' friends. Whats a midsummer pagan party? Me and Weigh happen to be free that day.

Is it where you dress up and play murder mystery. I did one of them, but we ended it in 5-minutes because the douche-bag murderer couldn't stop laughing and then it was obvious; But then we got drunk so it was alright in the end... Especially when we made 'booty calls' and no1 came.

Done - I'll go with the shaver and possibly throw in a Karcher Pressure Washer

Midsummer you goon - all-nighter, dressed as druids and doing what druids did which is basically getting leathered and goosing young and old ladies alike. Might even build a small replica stonehenge but something like 1:20 scale so that you can sit on top of one of the runes/stones/whatever when you get a bit tired.

Anyway, I see that lads journal is quite random. I think Timsk looks like 50% of Gilbert and George. Did he get you in shape for Gladiator?

I deliberately avoided the gap play today because I thought 5-6pts was a bit much especially as some goon hoovered up a load at 4am this morning and looked like they meant it. Seems I might have been wrong.

Anyway, market schmarket.
