Hello - I was wondering if anyone could inform me on what my realistic expectations of getting a place in a propp firm is given my current circumstances... Also if you could recommend some for me to look into... I've heard Futex is good, it costs to train and then possibly then offer you a job?
I think on paper i am not the best applicant for a propp firm, i haven't got the best qualifications but any means, i would say on paper i'm an average applicant... However i am proven in trading, i've traded at home for some time now and i've been succesful consistantly in Spreadbetting, ECN forex, futures and US/UK stocks - So in terms of what a propp firm would want me to do and trade, i can pretty much adapt to any type of trading... My results on the futures are very good, but i was wondering if having a track record could get me a job - The thing is i don't need training, i think i would enjoy the extra education but its certainly not needed, is it possible to walk straight into a job at futex without undergoing the training ?
Is having a good track record in trading, and i do mean a very good one, is that enough for me to get a place in a propp firm despite not having the best qualifications?
Thanks. If you need more details on my track record do ask because this is relatively urgent for me... Thankyou.
P.s. The reason i want to trade for a firm rather than myself is the social interaction with other traders, it can become tedious trading at home... I have enough money to financially back myself at home but trading for a firm i think would be a more enjoyable experience for me, plus if i was given enough money to trade 30+ contracts on the ES that would be very nice also.
