I'm trying to find a price earnings chart for the FTSE over past 50+ years. The reason being is that it tends to average around a certain level. A boom is indicated by being well above that pe average, and vice versa.
If I can find a decent chart it would help to give an indication of where we may be hitting a market bottom for a long term investment
I have tried googling and got to page 20 with no success !
