Does anyone know if the FSA only checks Experian, like most other institutions (i.e., non-lenders), or do they check all three credit file agencies when doing their Fit & Proper checks?
I don't know about the FSA but I know how the Pemier League's fit and proper test works -
1) Has the person got craploads of money?
2) Does his cheque clear?
3) Err, that's it.
Then he's fit and proper
PS. I've just read your original post. No, they don't check the credit agencies so you're all right, assuming you've got a default or a CCJ. I think they just check for criminal record, mainly to do with fraud.
