Personally they get my thumbs up. Cheap enough comms, decent trading platform, really excellent API, reasonable customer service. There has been much written about IB on this forum, try doing a search, there's plenty of material to read about them

And try "brokers" at elitetrader.com (extensive thread about IB)...............Lots of guys use them. Not for new people who need hand holding.
