Experienced FX Traders - arbitrage enquiry

Hello All once again

Are any of you guys experienced in Fx Arbitrage, anyone currently practising this, my friend in hong kong who is a big fx trader specialises in arbitrage, and has numerous accounts at banks across the world and makes his money through the small discprencies, which you know what its all about anyway.

What I would like to know can the so called little guy work in arbitrage, or is it only exclusive to the very large clips the institutions trade.

yeh hard to believe many private traders make much from arbitrage , rather like futures and underlying people already trading may use small differences as an incentive or not to enter at that time , but as a trade in itself ... can't see there being enough in it, just my feelings on it!!

It can't be done by the private trader and anyway even if it could the profits are very small (a few ticks) so you have to do big size to make it pay.
