Hi
I've decided to close my futures account but would like to continue trading commodities. & ETFs sounded good (I don't like the SB spreads). However there's something I dont understand. Take Wheat, I've looked at the charts for the futures: http://www.tfc-charts.w2d.com/chart/CW/W
but compared to the chart for the ETF: http://www.advfn.com/cmn/chrt/chrt_...0&ind1_2=&ind2_2=&ind_type3=0&ind1_3=&ind2_3=
The trend may be similar but that's about it. The moves in the WEAT ETF are incredibly wild. Why? It hardly seems worth buying the WEAT ETF if it's going to give you a heart attack.
Also, why the small number of trades on WEAT ETF? 30 trades on Friday 28/09/07?
Am I missing something? Only one trade on the NICK ETF (Nickel), 6 trades on the ZINC ETF Where's the liquidity? These are the trades for the ETFs hosted on LSE. Should I be looking at NYSE? Help!
Thanks for any help
